Getting a morgan Chicago 40 vise from my uncle. Anyone have any info on it?
Would you all recommend leave it as is or try and restore ie, get rust off and paint?

That's a nice looking vise. There is a vise thread here that I was told about a couple days ago and they have lots of ideas there. I am going to try a baked blo finish on one of mine makes it look like it's been aged to perfection. Good luck

That Morgan looks to be in pristine condition! I am partial to the painted vises. If nothing else I would polish the slide and jaws. That is way to nice to let rust anymore. Here is a Morgan 160 I refurbished a little while ago. Good luck!
