Just got a new (used) vice today. It was headed for the scrap yard and I just could not let it go down like that LOL. Need a worm(screw)cleaning and new paint. Researching it is how I found this site. Glad I did. Now a simple Q why does most of the vices(or what ever the plural of vice is) or the ones in pix on here model #s end in 1/2? Post pix when I take some. Thanks to all.

A Morgan Milwaukee is a vise. We let the Northerners slide when they are talking about their Record vices but thats about it. You've probably got 4 1/2" jaws and thats why the # ends in 1/2. Thats a nice size vise and if you have all 3 pipe jaws your lucky.
