Does anybody own any of these single-offset box end wrenches made by (APCO) Mossberg in the 1920's? I have a set of these in my tool box and I find I use them quite a bit on my racecar. No other box ends I own have a straight end, all either offset or angled and the straight end gets in areas those wrenches can't. The 3/4 I have is badly bent (maybe a cheater was used on it) and I'd like to get one in better condition, I also have an extra 5/8 I'd part with. I doubt they are worth much $, but they are very rare it seems, even more rare than the Mossberg sockets and female ratchets.

Still looking for these. These appear to be ultra rare! Does anyone on this forum besides myself even have any of these wrenches, even if they don't want to sell them?

Went through my inventory again, in addition to the 3/4" (part #) 976 wrench, I'm also in need of 7/16" 971 and a 13/16" 977. If anybody has any of these they want to part with lets make a deal.

Took some pics of the extra 5/8" 974 wrench I have in case anybody is curious what it looks like in more detail.

I don't know how much you are willing to pay, but there was a 13/16" on Ebay that was listed 3 times and never sold. You might be able to contact him and see if he still has it and if you can buy it from him for less money. Here is the link from the most recent unsold listing.

I can't help you Gregg, but those are very cool wrenches.

I sold a set of South African-made Gedore combos last year in the same pattern:

Were they made by the shotgun company?

Been awhile since I checked this thread, as others indicated the tool company and the gun company are totally unrelated. Ironically I have shot a Mossberg shotgun. Although I'm far from a weapons expert, I really liked the feel of the gun.

LG those are neat wrenches. I find the straight end is most useful though, fits into areas that usually only open ends do.

Flatintoone, I'm not really interested in other brands, I literally have about a dozen other wrench sets (although none are in that configuration), I would just like to complete the set. Also o/t but it's nice to see another IndyCar fan. I went to Pocono a few weeks ago, definitely a good show.
