Thanks for this thread - it's SO good to hear how so many others hate the mutha-puckin grease guns too!!!!

What is the most aggravating, hateful tool you have ever used? For me, undoubtedly, it is a handheld grease gun. I get pissed off every time I pick one up, because I know it's going to make me furious before I put it down, anyway. It can pump great, but the minute you climb into a piece of machinery or under a car, it will make 2 pumps and quit. Reloading and priming one is another adventure unto itself. I have used all the major brands for over 45 years, and have yet to find one that won't end up ruining my day.
Rant over. Your most hated tool?
That dude we hired a few years ago... never did anything, and when he did - it was usually in error, always on the dmnd phone or texting, had a faux hawk and smelled like peaches or something - what a tool.

SNAP RING PLIERS. honestly i don't know fi there is a set of these in the world that work properly
Flat Blade Screwdriver. those screws should have been eliminated years ago.

These cheap new Jacobs chucks.
But often the best way to remove a Phillips is by turning it into a slotted![]()

Buy a ROHM chuck instead ...
Any staple gun I have ever owned, doesn't matter if it's manual, electric, or pneumatic, doesn't matter if it's old or new, cheap or expensive. We can put a man on the moon, but can't make a staple gun that's capable of working one solid hour without jamming tight!
