Check this out, Stanley No. 2244 miter box. Overall condition is pretty good (as far as I can tell). It's missing the saw and the saw guides. Does anyone know if I could still pick up guides that would work with this miter box? Is it worth keeping around? How would I be able to date it?

Wow, you know, over the last year or so here just about every pawn shop in town suddenly had at least one, sometimes three 3/4" torque wrenches, all identical. I can't remember the brand but it didn't look like cheap stuff - we were wondering where they all came from, I bet it was something similar.

The only things I picked up here were 2 dewalt plastic tool cases and a furniture dolly with a missing wheel...They will not let vehicles go out of the dump around here now without inspecting them.

Today is trash pick up day. When I came home for lunch I noted that a guy up the street had thrown out an old weedeater that was nearly identical to my old weedeater I used before I got my new Echo. I knocked on his door and asked if I could have it and he said yeah. I brought it home and noticed that it was missing the part where the string goes. I pumped the primer and it fired right up. The parts look interchangable so if I cant find the replacement piece for the bottom, I've got a parts machine for my old one....
