I need some body hammers and dolly's as I'm starting as a panel beater
im trying to find out the most used ones as most people say there is only a couple you use most of the time anyway, and i don't want to spend money on ones i don't need when i can spend it on other tools, martin hammers are what im looking at

That's exactly what I use as well. Occasionally Eastwood has sales that includes those, and I believe I bought my set for under $200.

Are you in school for auto body? If so you can go online and sign up for Matco's Tech Ed program and get their 7pc body hammer set for like 142.00 with wood handles.

I bought some snap on hammers but picked up a martin to fill a gap I needed in my hammers and my martin is my go to hammer. I like the handle feel better.

My favorite hammers are either Proto or Snap-On with wood handles. My favorite dolly is a Snap-On anvil dolly; which doesn't seem to be available any more. If I was looking for one dolly/hammer, it would be a cross peen and a good universal dolly. If you are planning on staying in the business, buy good tools. They will last for your whole lifetime.

One of my go to body tools is an old steel wood splitting wedge. It has a nice sharp point to get into crevices, a big head and fairly crisp 90 degree edges.
