Tie between 17mm, 3/4", and 13/16" deep impacts and deep chrome on the torque wrench. Lugs.

Otherwise 10mm by far.

All newer Import and Domestic cars/trucks are metric and 10mm can take apart 1/2 of the fasteners on a car so unless you are working on something else 10mm will rule this thread.

10mm and 13mm cover most of the bolts on this Grand Am. Ask me again when I start up on the Firebird. :eyecrazy::willy_nil

1/2" But, then again, I standardized on 5/16ths as the bolt size I use for building things in my shop.

10-32 is my other standard size for building things in my shop, but that is screwdriver/Allen wrench territory.

But anything which CAN get riveted together in my shop gets riveted together. I tend to use -5's, as long as design principles don't dictate a smaller or larger size. They are big enough to work with easily, but still easier to drive.
