Motive Bleeder Help

I recently purchased a Motive 1735 Power Fill Pro and the adapters I needed for the vehicles I have.

The adapters didn't come with the same fitting as the pressure pump, so I went to lowes and bought the necessary fitting to fit it all together. It worked well on my first car, but I can't help but think that there's no reason for almost 10 feet of hose. Also, I've seen people use pneumatic connectors, which I think I'm going to switch over to, but was wondering what everyone else has done to switch between adapters.

Basically, I'm looking for a quick disconnect and probably only 4-5 feet of line at the most. (I think I had an extra quart of brake fluid just in the hose.)

I simply use a spring clamp (lawn mower fuel line clamp) on the hose at the master cylinder adapter. If you want to spend more money, hydraulic quick connectors. Female on the feed from the Motiv tank, cheaper male fittings on the master cylinder adapters:

I used pneumatic connectors, female on the pump and male on the adapter. Did not adjust the line length but its only about 1/2 of what you have.

Side note these works great, only issues I had was putting the adapter on the MC, really needed to force it on.

I used it on the wife's Cayenne and it worked great, other than having about a quart of brake fluid left over in the long line. I'm about to switch it over to the GM adapter but figure there has to be a better way.

If you keep the master cylinder full of brake fluid, You can use the power bleeder for pressure only. No need to fill the bottle with fluid.
Dont let the master cylinder empty.
The down side, you might have to refill the master cylinder and re-pressurize the power bleeder.
Almost zero clean up.

As promised above to include a photo of my alteration of the MOTIVE Bleeder here is my update.

I have had my MOTIVE Bleeder for years (can't remember how long) and I have replaced the aging/failing clear line with one from Home Depot a couple or three times over the years.

Most recently I decided I was tired of having to twist the cap backwards several times before attaching it to the brake reservoir in order to have a non twisted line, (as I am sure several of you have had that experience).

My solution was to use an air coupler. I also tailored the length of my hose to accommodate my needs. I tested it on my initial use by pressurizing the assembly dry and check for leaks before I added brake fluid. I was able to do this on 3 of my BMWs with no issues a few months ago.
