Motocross Inspired 2 car attached

Ive been a long time lurker, I thought I'd post what I came up with for my small space.

I started out by installing some stock cabinets I purchaced from Southerlands Lumber.

Then my my next step was to install Armstrong VCT flooring, and give the walls and cabnits a two toned gray paint job

Then I added a fold down bar and fold up Bar Stools to ad a little "fun" to the Garage.

I used the same floor tile for a counter top on top of 1 inch plywood.

Then I added a high Velocity Fan and TV. Put 8 inches of Green Fiber insulation in the attic, and Insulated the garage Door. And a bud light mini fridge for "fun" also.

And Here is the Final Result.

I live in Houston and the temp. in my garage was 109 last weekend
Do you have any idea of the exact temperature before and after you insulated the attic?
Please tell me if the side walls are insulated too?

I'm not sure the exact Temp, but it went from Miserable to Bearable, it stays about mid 80's in there now with an outside temp of 100. The only insulated wall is the rear wall attached to the house. Its worth the 140.00 bucks for 20 bags of green fiber, its messy as hell but its worth it.

I really like the tiles on the bench tops and the fan. You should continue that pattern on your fold-up table.

I was debating on stain or doing the floor tiles, The green and black checkers I did with high gloss enamel, I'm pretty sure that would hold up to drinks and sweat from glass, but the grey is done with a semi gloss latex, do you think it would hold up as well?

Thanks, I have no clue why but i have ran #17 since i started racing. The table and stools were a spur of the moment decision wally world had the stools on sale for 8 bucks each, and I fashioned the table out of 3 door hinges and some birch for around 20 bucks.

The Flooring took about 4 hours about 15 minutes to apply the glue, 45 minutes for the glue to set up, then an hour to apply the tile, I split it up in half.

As for the boards they are Bean Bag boards aka Corn hole boards. A pretty fun project, here are a few pics.

Thanks! i went with the floor because i was dead set on checkered and the vct was the cheapest/easiest solution. its help up really well so far besides one small paint thinner incident that took off some of the sealer, but what I like about it is you can always strip it and start over.

Can you give me more details on the green paint you used on your wall stripe? Comparing it to the Kaw M/C you have in the pictures, it appears to have a bit more yellow in it. This might make it a good match for the factory "Roulette Green" on my '01 Triumph Tiger. It's not the typical lime green and it's hard to find.

I think it was called "sonic boom" or "green splash" I had it mixed at home depot, I'll check the lid later tonight.

Once the glue sets up it goes really fast, I used this technique (link below) to make the cuts and had my wife and son pass me the tiles.

Thanks! Youve got a good look going in your garage so far... I made my first workbench from free pallets and crates. I just decided to finally take the plung and dive in head first.

Cost was .68 a sq ft for tile and 18 bucks a gallon for adhesive ( i used 3) then 10 bucks for a u-noched trowl.
