We just installed the Motor Deck tiles in our garage, it looks awesome! We live in Florida and the afternoon/evening sun bears right in to the garage, even though we are in "spring" it gets very hot. When the tile get hot they start to "buckle" has anyone else had this problem and if so do you have a solution to "fix" this issue? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. I've emailed the company to see if they have any solutions but haven't heard back yet.

You are supposed to leave maybe half an inch around the edges of the room so the tiles can float and expand. With a bunch of tiles or with stuff on them like cars, cabinets, benches, etc., I doubt the tiles can actually float and expand outwards. Instead they buckle.

Air condition your garage? Put a fan on the tiles in the sun?

Tiles exposed to sun can expand causing buckling. Agree with above leave room for them to move around the perimeter to absorb the expansion.

As we say "A loose floor is a happy floor".
