I am working on a vintage Brown Bruckmeyer motor. It cam to me a switch box clumsily mount to the end bell and the stator wires taped together from the stator to the switch box.
The switch and switch box are a Westinghouse product
The stator wires exit the stator through a standard hole. You can see there are no box mounting screws on the stator. The one hole is 1/4-20.
I would like to find a peckerhead box that fit to the stator like this one that I took off of a Rockwell motor I have
You can see the fit is close. The problems are that I don't want to strip this box off of a good motor and that box would not accommodate a switch mounting. I realize there are other solutions but Im wondering if anybody knows of a source for a switch box that would work?
