I have what looks to be an older Bodine Electric Company 115V motor. On the plate I see 115V, 1.8A, continuous duty cycle, 1725 rpm, and type USI-34. There are 3 wires coming out the motor, two black and one green. There is nothing to distinguish the two black wires from one another. I got this from an yard sell and I just wanted to provide power to it to check if it still runs. Would would you recommend doing? I'd rather not pull it apart to see where the wires are attached if possible.
