I'll bet your neighbors were happy to see you move in.

...for the most part...

As it turns out, not everybody appreciates mustangs with stroker motors, baja bugs, and demolition derby cars...:dunno:

I know the code enforecment folks by name now because of a snooty neighbor who never did come talk to me first...

Code enforcement made "suggestions", but couldn't say that I was doing anything wrong.
...even with this being built right in front of them:

caddy purists relax... it was ROTTEN... and brought home a first place anyway...

Oh and thanks for the "Rock On" Fergie... I need the encouragement to help me stay motivated finishing the bathroom... the wife is refusing to allow me to get to work on the new buggy till' the bathroom is done...

gunna add this to the "garages at night" thread too... but this pic makes me all warm and fuzzy, and I needed to see it in this one too.

Love the garage man! I can totally share your excitement. I just bought my first house and can appreciate the "first garage" as well. Cool night shot. I really like the idea of the grinder/bender cart by the way.

before...

after...

Our very first home is officially finished... every wall, every door, and every window has been replaced, or improved in some way...

There is not a single light fixture, appliance, or water faucet that exists from before I bought this place...

The roof is new, its got fancy counter tops, and the landscaping is prettier than anything within view...

Its a beautiful, finished home to live in.

Must be time to move.:lol_hitti

Pending no hiccups... escrow closes in 7 days... the "new" house should follow just a few days later... cross your fingers for me Gentlemen...

Motorbreath53's Happy Place Version 2.0 is in sight...
