Here's a "How To" project suggestion to get rid of some extra parts that may be laying around taking up valuable space in the garage.
I took an old Porsche 944 wheel, some leftover PVC tubing, 2 bagged-out Shelby GLH-S rear springs, our former mailbox, a couple of boards & some heavy rope and made our cats (Porsche & Shelby ;-) what I call their Motorcat Mount.
The only thing I had to buy was the rope ($20!), as we had plenty of leftover carpet to cover it with.
Yeah, I shot the better part of a weekend making it.....but it was fun trying to recycle the stuff and it's been a real conversation piece

Isn't that rim expensive? I thought those things were sought after.

Hey Mark!

Expensive is relative, but I think that realistically they go for $50-$100 each depending on size & condition....and the good news is that the rim was not damaged or altered in any way to make the "MM". I just lucked into having some PVC tubing that was the same outside diameter as the wheel's centerbore that slid in snugly with the help of a rubber mallet, so no P-car parts were harmed in the making of this contraption :rocker:
