That RM in the first pic has to be the hands down winner of the ugly bike contest! :lol_hitti Got love the 90's design.....:rocker:

Love those old RM's they were fast and handled very good! I have a 78' 125C in my collection. Nice lineup!

A YZ125! I had one when they first came out (1974). Worked for a dealer at the time so, on my day off, I went to the distributor, brought it home in a crate, set it up, and went to Saddleback Park (some of you Calif old-timers may remember that place).

Ktmrider, how do you like the oset? Thinking of getting one

The Osets are great little bikes! I am a dealer for them in central NY I could not find any dealers so I became one. Perfect bike for kids! No gas, no hot engine or exhaust, quiet! 0-20 mph adjustable throttle, 4-6 hours on a charge, incredibly high resale value.

Those grey 74's with the strap tanks where great bikes! They are worth a big $$$$ in nice shape if you can find one....

Just finished getting this Yamaha Emblem painted on my wall...With the 84 YZ80 posing in front.

I hate to break it to you but, that Yamaha logo is actually for the musical branch of Yamaha and not the motorsports branch. Otherwise, it looks pretty cool.

You learn something new everyday! I always thought they were the same logo! Fun fact!

Anyway 68 Triumph on the table,

Can you post some more pictures of your table?
I've kinda spent too much money this year on motorcycle stuff and I know the wife won't let me get a bike lift so I need to build one. I only have dirtbikes so the most weight it needs to hold is 300lb. Trying to get some ideas.

I built this table using 8' 2x4's and 4x8 sheet of plywood. Locking casters on the bottom make it super easy to move around even with the bike on.

Hey Voodoo. How easy was it to get the bike on the table? I've been thinking about building one, but worry about getting the bike on and off.

I gotta confess that when the 1100 Katana first came out, I thought it was the ugliest bike I'd ever seen. 30 years later, I feel totally different. It's actually a great looking bike and I'd love to own one someday.

Most people felt exactly as you did, but many of them have come around as the big Kat approaches classic status. Time heals all wounds... and the styling has become timeless in the passing years.

And for those in doubt, see how much better it looks parked next to my new-to-me Suzuki B-King?

I guess this is as good a place for an intro as any. We just closed on a newbuild house with four car garage which will be my work/toy shop(the wife has long been used to not being able to park the Tahoe in the garage lol) I found this awesome forum while looking for flooring ideas and so glad i did. Anyway heres a pic of my shovel in my current detached two-car shop.

And here is the reason I need a four car..

And I will be starting a new thread when I finally get to start on my new shop. The plan is two bike lifts with racetrac Harley flooring in all but one stall which I'll leave bare for welding fab area...

That is a Ranger RML 750 HD

They currently sell for $1,090 but well worth it. It comes with the side extensions and the two metal poles that are useful for holding up the back of the bike - like in my pic. Also it has retractable casters so you can move the lift around while it is loaded:

RangerDriveway.jpg

Another thing I like about it - it has a frame that sits on the ground and doesn't move. Most of the lift tables use a scissor type action and the bottom supports get closer together when the lift goes up. I have no problem getting up on the table with the bike and working on it - it is very stable. I think the shipping weight is around 700lbs!

Is that snow all over your lift? I hate snow...

A past garage and our current shop. The bad pictures with all the wood piled is our current house... soon to be a working shop again.

83 Goldwing that came with 60,000km+

I run a motorcycle performance shop with a Road Racing background, we specialize in late model sportbikes.

heres the shop before i got the dyno.

I now have a dyno, so what you see now is where the dyno is located(which is on a trailer i built for it). im working on building a welding table, Clean table for suspension/motor builds, and counters to run most of the way around the shop.

ill try to post up more pics when i finish.

here is the latest race machine(08 R6, btw the color is neon red)
