here is the latest race machine(08 R6, btw the color is neon red)

I love the neon red, it really suits the bike.

I added an 06 YZF600R to my collection this week. 1 owner with only 2700 miles.

Here they are together, minus the Gold Wing.

BTW, I would like to do mezzanine storage like that. Did you do that yourself? Is it designed as a kit?

Used 42" wide standard pallet racking. 2x12 board cut to fit on the lip between the beams. Each shelf is rated for 3000 lbs. distributed.

Never got a chance to stop by your place on the Texas Hill Country ride for the ice cream social you hold. Now I regret it.

.

How do you get them up there?

Four post lift on the far side. Made a platform (aluminum subframe with a piece of ply on top) which fits between the runways for lifting bikes and a reinforced piece of plywood which bridges the gap between the lift and racking. Both can be seen in this pic:

Can lift 2 bikes at a time.

Hey Voodoo. How easy was it to get the bike on the table? I've been thinking about building one, but worry about getting the bike on and off.

Sorry. I haven't been around in a while. It's easy because I use a lift I bought from Princess Auto. I think it's an ATV lift.

Hi
nice bike, I have a 2004 1200gs before that a 1150 & two 1100 gs's
one of the best bikes going.

I have your DVD saved me a lot of money
thanks jeff

Thanks, I am glad I could help. Let me know if you have any questions.

This bike is number 274, a very early (first 500) bike that has the shiney tank metal panels. 120K miles, and rides like new. Technically it is an 05, though it is really a European 04. In the US the 04 was an R1150.

Anyhow, thanks!

Jim

My attached garage is full with bikes, can't park the cars in there. Currently building a 24x24 shop strictly for the bikes.
