Oh...even better! I am looking at them at the moment...I assume they go as good as they look? Any tips on ownership?
Just look for a clean bike that had a service done , belts replaced and valves checked . I have an s4r I dont ride , but you seem a bit far away . Keep in mind parts are not cheap in the USA , I cant imagine they are cheaper in Australia. Good luck .

Exactly, 2 part colored epoxy on floor, decals down, 2 part clear epoxy on top. I think the only thing I would do different is not put the paint flakes in the area of the decals. Basically ended up with some flakes under the decals but after the clear coat it's hard to tell unless you know it's there.

How is it tied down, even where you are you might get an earthgquake.

Not tied down at all, we live in a very geologically stable region. While technically we have had earthquakes in this area, they are really only detectable by sensitive seismic equipment. The garbage truck rumbling down the alley will shake the Triumph more than any earthquake is ever likely to.

What has the big tire on it behind the lift in the first pic?
It's not a motorcycle garage per say, but it's my corner of the garage for the motorcycle. This picture was taken just after the car that normally resides here is in the shop.... Christmas Decorations removed from the attic and right before my major clean up effort. So it was a mess which got me motivated enough to do a major cleaning.

that's kinda what i was thinking.it also looks like the rake of the front end is out there like a funny bike.that's a class i miss watching run.i always enjoyed watching tj hoffmeister,rusty quesenberry and mark miller run....

I watched TJ and Rusty. George Bryce (Star Racing) too back when he was on a Funny Bike. Plenty of others too. I raced in both IDBA and Prostar when they were around. Started racing in the late 70's. Still some today but nothing like back in the heyday.

Turbo/nitrous funnybike
It's a Bonnie Truett/ Danny Martin collaboration that I had built in the '80s. Jack O'Malley did the 16 valve motor and induction. Match raced Mo,Pete and the rest of the nitro tractors. Even raced Elmer once. When it got deep in the 6's, It started to not be fun anymore so I quit. Bike just sits there. Tires are junk. Fresh oil and fuel it should run. Mag might need recharging but thats about it. Maybe I'll lite it off again one of these days. For now, I'll just be bracket racing.

I did work out of a 11.5x15, and it wasn't too bad. Just make sure that you keep anything big on wheels so you can roll it out of the shop when you want the room in there.
I like that ! Very European looking . England or Portugal . Sweet Triumph too

After doing a ton of research on the net I decided this might be a viable project, as it turns out, it makes 134 degree air on most days that there is sun or it is mildly overcast. Unfortunately it is not large enough to heat the shop completely at this point. With no interior insulation the best it could manage was about a 10 degree temp increase. I'm hoping that with the new insulation and interior walls it will work better and the plan to build a second solar heater should help. Total build cost was under $100 so another heater for about the same $ and double the BTU's seems like a bargain to me. It is fan forced with a approximately 600 cfm pancake 110V fan. Next step is a small battery bank a charge controller and a homemade wind turbine to power the fan. Shop heat for free!

Hello, here is a shot of the motorcycle portion of my garage. I recently built this table to make mug builds a bit easier. I also recently extended my work bench the full length of the back wall. The front half of the garage is the car portion.

Half bike half car garage...all bikes built frame up by myself over the past few years..most from wrecked bikes..etc...the ******** is from ********..not built by me...the silver one is the next one up on the lift after the tank is put on the orange one...yet another bike..lol

Here is my shop the one with the TT500 on the lift is before I sunk the lift into the floor its better now I can park a car over it (not like a car is in there that much) I also use this lift when I work on my Meyers Towd buggy the lift is good for 1750 lbs. and my Towd is only about 1100 lbs.
PS I'm thinking on selling the TT500 its a 1978 what is the thought of the group?
