I've seen some pretty good looking motorcycle areas in some member's posted photos, so I thought I'd start a thread dedicated just to bikes and bike garages. And of course, I get to do the obligatory pic to show off the bikes.

Here is ours - this is one corner of our metal building. 4 bikes, a small workbench and work area. When I need to do anything serious I wheel over my big tool box from across the room. I built a rack to hang gear, and I have a Coats 220 tire changer and tire storage over on the left. All of the different front end stands and adapters are stored by the mountain bikes. My wife bought some heavy duty rolling wire racks at Costco a while back and they make excellent storage.

Very nice. I like that corner bench. I am still trying to figure out what that bike is. The motor and frame look Japanese but I can't figure out what has a single sided swingarm like that. Triumph?

How about 4 wheelers ??

We are building a 16 x 16 just for the 4 wheelers and lawn equipment. Eventually it will be fully enclosed and wired up.

It is tall enough for me to walk upstairs. That space will be used for storage.

Some of you may recognize me as owner of THE ASYLUM, but my other garage truly qualifies as a "Motorcycles Only" garage. Currently the wife has 3 of her 5 parked in there and 2 of my 5 are there. The cages are banned to the driveway!

P.S. Since I'm trying to keep my identity somewhat anonymous, if you happen to recognize my places as local to you, PM me rather than posting something like "Are you the guy down the block on Elm Street? It just gives away too much information to the predators.
Maybe we can hook up and drink a beer

love your RC30, one of my dream bikes!

Thanks, bought it new in 1991. 46,000+ miles. I have to buy V-rod tires now to get a sticky rear tire that fits the 18 inch rear wheel. When it was new the hot setup was a bias-ply front tire and radial rear. That's what the OEM tires were.

You guys got some nice bike garage's. Mine is a little more low key but it gets the job done!

Pictures as I was moving into it after building.

These pictures were not actually taken of the garage but you can see in the background on most of them. I will try to get some more recent ones up soon.

Now that I look at the pictures again it seems like my garage is always a mess but I honestly keep it clean most of the time...lmao

Thanks. Lots of projects. So many I don't know where to start some days...lol

Currently working on the following but none complete...lol

1979 XS650 Rebuild
1978 XS Bobber
1975 KZ400 Cafe Racer
1974 CB750 Trike

Got a frame on the shelf for another XS650 bobber and about 20 parts bikes sitting around...lol The Fatboy is the daily rider but I enjoy them all!

The lift is nothing real fancy.

I got it right here

I am ready to get another one and possibly a third.

Cool! If you need anything give me a shout. Don't have any that new but most parts are interchangeable on these. I have 5 parts bikes sitting in the garage...lol

Check out my website sometime for some inspiration. www.thechopperunderground.com

I dig the Super Moto KTMs

Thanks man!
I like almost anything bike related, but gotta say there is nothing like supermoto in the fun department! I got into it like 4-5 years ago and I have not looked back once! The zx7 in this pic is long since gone... I don't miss it.

Ok, with the exception of the Z06 and my wife's SUV, ours is primarly a 720 sq foot hangout for our two Harleys (plus a few more when good friends stop by). Installed heat this year so they'd stay warm while viewing American Thunder or American Chopper.

. . . of course lawn equipment has been banned from the space, too much bickering between the Road King and the zero turn.

SWEET Setup!

Maybe one of these days when I retire I can build a garage just for hanging out. Right now I have to rely on mine to pay some of the bills and keep the hobbies funded...lol

I posted a few of my shop in progress. I am still working on it. I need something to go under the lifts, lights, new outlets and air lines to get it done The cabinets came from Craigs- the art was my own idea.
The storage area has about 25 bikes in it ranging from a 1948 Triumph GP racer to a Rocket Gold Star and Rocket 3 - the real one, and about 8 Triumph twins
Once I get the front done I will sort out the storage area.
Yes I am in a 12 step program...

Nice thread tez929rr ! ! I am in the process of building my motorcycle "dream garage", and can't wait to be done. I like what you did in your garage rpsurfr with the shelfing unit to store the bikes, I was thinking about doing something like that.
I will be posting pictures when it is a little more interesting, right now we are in the priliminary stages and a few days away from pourring the slab, then the real fun work starts ! ! ! and don't worry rpsurfr you are not the only one to be in a "12 step program" ... ha ... ha... ha...
