Seen a bunch of threads on jack stand storage but only a few posts on storage Motorcycle or Transmission jacks. I have both, and while they are great when you need them they are always in the way when you don't. The mc jack is particularly annoying, mine is flat other than the cylinder that pokes up at a strange angle.

I am thinking the easiest is under a shelf full of jackstands, but I wanted to see if the storage geniuses around here have a better way.

If it matters mine are both the torin big red brand

I'm storing my motorcycle jack and SUV trolley jack under the bottom shelf of my workbench. The barely fit under there but it works for me. It's more of a coincidence than anything because I spaced the shelf under the workbench to fit most bench top drill presses.

Unceremoniously under one of my benches with the other jacks and the stands.

Motorcycle jack doesn't stay in the shop (smallish 2 car garage); no efficient way to store it there. It's in the house, down in the basement, under the stairs. Not in the way there, and it's accessible on the rare occasion I would want to use it.

When I lived in apartment I took the wheels off and stored the bike jack under the bed. Now i just keep tripping over it in the garage, maybe I should put it back under the bed!!!
