Here is a welding/fab table I made that I can convert to a motorcycle table. I made it so I can install these inserts in the end like a hitch reciever when I want to use it as a motorcycle table. Each corner has them too for adding attachments to the table like a vise.

I use a 1 ton chainfall that is strung across 2 2x4's that are strung over 3 cieling joists. definately more that enough to handle the 400 lb load. The bike is well secured to the table and the casters roll good with the bike on the table. The casters came off a 1500lb rated heavy duty trans jack. I definately wouldnt put my bike up there if i wasnt sure it would hold more than twice it's weight.

Really nice job on the table. I like how you have made the table versatile by having threaded areas to mount other pieces on to it. A really clean design
