It's been awhile since I've posted any pics... thought I would share my new masterpiece. Wife was busting my balls for spending time on this, but I think it turned out great.

I took an old cycle front wheel set-up and converted it into a custom clock for the garage. Used a sawzall to cut out the hub, then repainted the rotor and wheel. Picked up a donor clock at Target for parts - painted hands. Sandwiched a metal electrical outlet cover between the rotor and wheel to mount the clock mechanism. Sunk a lag bolt into a stud to support the weight - inserts into the upper spoke hole to mount.

Here's the rest of the garage...

I love it! I work on blood analyzers and my buddy gave me a round piece off the instrument that I'll be making a clock out of too. Will post pictures when I do.

That turned out great -the paint looks flawless! I going to pull out one of my wife's old V-Rod wheels to see how much room is in there.

Btw, the garage looks sweet. I really like your use of the roofing panels.

Mine keeps me ill too. She's a Pediatric nurse, sees all kinds of kids come in with cuts and bruises. I had 3 bikes and was down to my Ninja. She told me I should sell it being that I don't ride much and if I should have the urge later on, that I could get another. Stupid me, fell for the ploy. Now that I have an urge, she rescinded her original offer and I'm without any bikes... I do have 9 John deere garden tractors though. :D

No offense man, but if you were a rider when you started, it is VERY unfair of her to tell you no now!:scared: Personally I will never stop riding again.

A little O/T but a local shop made speaker boxes out of go-cart wheels and have them hanging around his shop. Love the clock and the garage!
