Hi,

I just bought a Garage Vac : http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00211UR18/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I was planning on mounting it on the wall but I managed to forget about all the wires that are there.

Is there some way for me to mount this on a pole, or does anyone have another suggestion?

Can I mount it on the wall anyway?

Thanks,
Rich

Pretty neat rig. I cant tell how it is usually mounted, buy the ones I use have a bracket that is screwed to the wall, then the vac hangs on the bracket.

If this rig has a seperate bracket, then you should be able to take some scrap wood and cut the radius of the pole out of one side. Screw the bracket to the wood, After that a couple long hose clamps will hold the bracket to the pole. Hang vac as usual and you are done.

Screw some cleats on either side of the wiring bundle to space the vac off the wall and over the wires. Screw a piece of plywood to the cleats to mount the vac. This would also hide the wires but still leave them accessible when needed.

A simple stand off would be my first choice. A few chunks of 2x4 parallel to the wires. then a section of plywood to span them. Hang you vac. Easy Peasy. Keith
