Hey guys have a question, I’ve seen a pic of a workbench on here that had what looked like a drawer from a tool cabinet/metal tool box mounted to it. Looked pretty cool against the wood bench but of course I can’t find it now! Looking to try and do the same. Posting pictures below of bench and the drawer I got (basically a craftsman middle chest ) wondering best way to fasten it to my frame. Looks like it has mounting holes Thanks for any help guys. The board at the bottom of my top is 1/2 “ MDF for stability.

Yeah, the drawers come out of the unit so you can screw it directly to the table then put the drawers back. You can use whatever screws you want really. If it's going on top of the cart then 1 in each corner should be plenty. If its hanging from the bottom I would use more, along with a large washer that fits the screws style of head to make sure it doesnt pull out of the flimsy steel.

I did one.
Bought a used drawer with slides from eBay.

Made a wooden frame to screw to underside of benchtop.
