I have been busy getting ready for Chryslers at Carlisle next week. Did some modifications to the trailer.................

-Installed the spare tire and wheel chocks
-New box for battery, tie-downs, tools, etc. I got tired of the cheap battery boxes for the winch. I lost 2 covers already and I wouldn't say I liked the set-up. This box is decent for the money and should work great.

I also had to add some 2x4 cross bracing to raise the truck camper for the new truck. The truck's cab is a little taller than the 2014. Easy mod and fits perfectly now. I was worried that the tail lights and work boxes may be too close, but not the case.

Did your new truck not come with block off plugs for the tailgate wiring? There was a separate bag of connectors in my glovebox specifically to seal those when I remove the tailgate. They are dummy plugs but seal like the main connectors and keep the dirt and water out.

Yes, it did and I installed them. It was nice to find the bag in the glove box.............. (y)I don't think my 2014 had them.

Are you talking about the blue tape on the plugs on the tailgate? I put the plugs on the wires under the truck, no reason to cover the others sitting in my shop.

Bought the trailer on Tuesday last week the following day went and loaded it up for the first time. Drove about 2 1/2 hours each way to Stafford Virginia to pick up some storage cabinets for the shop.

Russ Bassett HD cabinets, these things are no joke. They have to weigh over 400lbs. a piece. 25" wide, 29" deep and 4.5' tall.

Scott, when you're done sorting through your coffee cans...I have a "few" you you could separate

Those cabinets will be a nice addition for sure and that trailer looks pretty stout!
