What are some ideas concerning mounting cabinets and other items on the interior walls of a concrete block garage. Let's see some photos of stuff you guys have hung on your concrete block walls and hear about how you did it.

I ran the router down the end of a 1x4 and mounted that to the block wall using concrete anchors, then I set the cabinets on top of it and used concrete anchors on top to keep them from tipping out.

Probably a little overkill, but I was worried about them slumping down the wall and if the 1x4 is level, then the cabinets should be level as well.

I was just going to say concrete anchors as well, but that is a great idea right there.

you can mount a piece of shallow unistrut using concrete anchors . Then get some 1/4 " spring nuts and hardware including fender washers to mount your cabinets or whatever it is.

For cabinets mount one piece of strut for bolting the top of the cabinets and another piece for the bottom. If its a whole long wall of cabinets, you can use full 10 ft pieces of strut, level the strut and cabinets will be nice and level. This is also nice because with spring nuts it gives you play side to side so the mounting holes in the cabinets don't need to be dead on and when you mount the strut to the wall you will have a little adjustment up and down as well due to the elongated holes in the strut. If whatever you are hanging is super heavy you can use all 3/8 hardware(anchors, spring nuts, and hardware).
