So I bought some outside lights that I plan to mount on each side of the garage doors, two on the ends and one in between the doors. The problem I have is in order to get them to have the outside two mounted evenly and the one centered in the middle, they will land on the ribs of the steel. Anyone that I have asked about at the lumber stores tell me they dont have the white mounting plates for steel, that is just for vinyl siding and on steel the lights just mount directly to it. Suggestions?
