Mounting strip lights

I bought a roll of strip lights to mount under the bed frame so I can see the floor without turning on the big light. They are adhesive backed but I don't trust they'll stay attached. I see that I can buy little clips that screw to the underside of whatever but that seems a little underwhelming. I guess I'm not going to see the lights themselves so maybe it's ok. Just seems like there should be a better way. Is there?

Don’t know, but they beg for a sensor to start them strobing when the bed detects intense activity.

That can be for the strip lights I'll mount to the back of the headboard!

I had thought maybe make an aluminum channel to mount them in. Turns out that's a thing! Doh! Ordered, arriving tomorrow.
