mounting these wiremold strips....

Any one know how these wiremold strips are mounted.... I got 3 in vacious length 15AMP 20AMP strips from 6 ft or 8 ft strips some how....but how do you mount them? I don't see any tabs that to use screws on them.... is there some missing brackets? these are design for industrial racks so not sure, if there are brackets to them or not. I just got them long ago....

You asking about Plugmold® ? They have mounting holes in the back channel, they will have to be opened up to mount, have fun when doing so to one not fastened down.

depending on the series of wiremold you have they make mounting clips for them. screw to wall and snap on wire mold.

Thanks, I will take a look , there was no mounting screws holes or tabs on these, just two ridges for some sort of channel or clips, that linked pic looks like something it would slide into.

Take a look at the install instructions PDF, there are mounting clips. Maybe you can order them from Wiremold.

If it plugs in, it's classified as a relocatable power tap (power strip) and can't be permanently affixed. That's why it doesn't have any holes in it.
Some power strips have keyhole slots in them, to hang off of untightened nails or a screws.
There has to be a way to detach the strip without using tools.
Just a suggestion, order the proper clips from Wiremold.

yes, was trying to find that correct clips... I have 3, all different size but all wiremold strips... all don't have holes clips mounts, don't remember where I got them from, found them in my basement been there at least 10 years maybe... trying to organize my non industrial table workbench..... It's industrial stuff, figure some one should know how these things are mounted up.

I disassembled the strip I acquired from a thrift shop, drilled holes through the back panel to mount them to my bench.

I connected a length of 12 gauge 3 conductor cord to the strip and bolted it to the overhead shelf on my bench.

I completed the job by painting the cover and slapping it in place.

That was, I think, in 1978.

An alternative would be to bend a pair of "Z"- brackets, fasten them to the wall.and cradle the wiremold in them.
