Mounting two retractable garden hose reels

I have two medium duty garden hose reels I want to mount.

One is going into brick. One is going into Hardiplank.

Suggestions on best way to attach them?

Tapcons for brick.

I wouldn't mount to just the Hardiplank. It's not structural material. I would find a stud behind the Hardiplank.

My Eley hose reel came with expansion anchors to attach to brick. Their base plate was designed really clever so the holes for the anchors went into mortar joints of standard brick.
