Not big on movies while I'm busy working (I get distracted enough.) Now, music, it's the first thing I turn on after the lights.

Movies are for outside the shop. Power tools and vehicle/planes not working right are both dangers enough to warrant my attention.

Movies are for days you can't get things done (awaiting parts/weather, etc).

Things I taped off of the history channel on the tv or baseball on the radio. Either one you can listen to without it being too distracting. Can't do football on the radio and work in shop, football requires you pay more attention. Just started wiring my new shop and am wondering where to put the tv. Mike

I mostly work in the shop on weekends, so I watch POWERBLOCK TV, not movies. It's educational and a little inspirational....

Not much for movies while working. TV is ok if shows that don't make a lot of distractions. I will be putting a TV out there again but not so much for movies. I really don't get watching **** while working. Not that I have a problem with **** but while working??

I DVR racing on the box in the house and then play it back in the garage. My car club has monthly Tech Days, and when I host I like to have racing on in the garage.

I am in the garage to work, not watch TV, I frequently don't even turn on the radio.

My new garage did get wired with TV cable and CAT5 wiring but I don't plan on using the TV cable. I just figured it was best to do it then before the concrete was poured. I do like to listen to foreign radio stations on the net so a computer is something I have to get out there soon.

Mike...."foreign radio"...? Like what? I read foreign conservative blogs, but never thought of the streaming radios.
