Considering the purchase of a Bendpak HDS-14 lift, but I'd like the ability to move the lift around the garage like you can with the 9k lb. models. It is recommended that the 14k model be bolted down permanently. Has anyone successfully moved a 14k lift via caster wheels, and then used the lift in service without bolting to the floor? Is there anything fundamentally different in the design of the 14k vs. the 9k that would prevent one from using it without being bolted to the floor?
