Moving husky 66" box

Has anyone moved a box this size in a uhaul with the ramp? Does anyone rent a smaller box truck with a lift gate? Like a 14'-16'? Thanks in advance

lift gate would be the way to go if the box will fit on the list

The problem is finding one to rent with a lift gate. All I'm finding is giant trucks that require a CDL to drive for rent. Has anyone ever rolled a box this size up a uhaul ramp? Or know a company that rents smaller box trucks with a lift gate ?

Some tow truck companies will move them, the mechanics where I just left you them all the time, personally I just use my 10x8 trailer to move mine, 72” KRL

Not to be rude but it's just something you are going to have to try yourself.

There is no way of knowing if your box weights 400lbs loaded or 2400lbs, and on top of that we have no idea if you are physically capable of such things.

It would be interesting to see if a box of that quality could withstand a cross country trip at it's max rated capacity. My guess is if you have it loaded up with tools and travel a great distance you are going to have some damage.

Ryder rents 16ft trucks with liftgates that I've moved a few boxes with works pretty good.

Call a rollback, if you have triple a (AAA) they will do it as a tow!

I moved my RF-31 mill in a uhaul all by myself, with a ramp for unloading...I used tow ratchet straps to slowly lower it down the ramp....loosened them alternately a little at a time. You could do the same in reverse around the box, tightening each one alternately to creep it up the ramp. If they built the pyramids without a liftgate truck, you can move a toolbox....

just pick up an ATV winch from HF and mount it in the truck, use it to pull and lower you box on the ramp and remove when done. They will prob never notice the holes.

Make the job easier but it'll take longer. Take each drawer out of the box and carry it into the U-Haul box. Once all the drawers are in truck, roll the empty tool box shell into the truck. Put the drawers back in it for the move.

Unloading will be just the opposite.

I have loaded and unloaded partially filled Milwaukee 60" workstations solo into a pickup truck. It was difficult, but doable. Two people piece of cake. Loaded to the gills? Liftgate or winch, or unload.
