Asked the lady, "Hey, how much for this old cabinet?"....."$10 bucks", she said.

I said, "SOLD!"

It was nailed to a concrete wall behind the furnace. Had to grind the head off one of the anchors to get it down.

If you called it vintage instead of old the price would have been higher. Nice choice of words. And, you ****.

Gents, Appreciate the offers but this is a keeper! Going to put it right next to the Goodyear hydraulic parts bin and under great grand dads swordfish "Gaylord".

WOW, you really ****, that looks to be in very good condition.  Do the doors have shelves in them as well?

Glad you found that. I cannot fit any more stuff in my garage...

You sir are not trying hard enough. You have head the story of the jar, rocks sand and water right? There is ALWAYS more room for "stuff" :bounce:

Doors have shelves. The left side sags a bit cause the guys left it open and had pile a bunch of nails in there. Some rust on the top from where water had dripped off some ductwork. I had to use a rotary grinder to take the heads off the concrete anchor tha was used to mount it to the basement wall. I would call the whole thing an "8". The poor lady had people crawling all over her house during this sale. I think she was scrambling to make sure folks didn't walk out the door with all her stuff. I found a cool old toolbox, some vintage rulers and planers, other odds and ends. There was probably more to pick thru but I was happy to snag the cabinet. It was hiding behind the furnace. At first i tried a dremel tool to work on the studs but had to back for the big gun grinder. Took me about 30 minutes including trip or two back to my place to take it down.
