Moving to minnesota

Hi all

I stumbled on this forum while I was looking for builders in Minnesota to do a pole barn. What a wealth of knowledge!

Currently I'm living in iowa with a 24x24 shop that is running out of room. The wife and I both accepted jobs in Minnesota and purchased 10 acres on the west side of the twin cities. We will be building a house and a pole barn hopefully this spring.

I'm thinking 40x60 half cold storage and eventually finish the other half as a heated workshop.

Does anyone know any good builders in the area? I've gotten quotes from 24k all the way to 40k for the same basic structure.

I live west of the Twin Cities. My competitive bid process led me to have Sherman Pole Buildings http://www.shermanpolebuildings.com/ build my 24x48x14 workshop. I was happy with their build and have been very happy with their post sale responsiveness to small issues which showed up after the building was completed.

I've got a quote from Sherman already and they are on the more affordable side. I'm glad to hear some good feedback on them.

1/2 cup - I spent some time in Melbourne awhile back (my sister lives there). Talk about a huge race following. I had a great time up at Phillip island motogp.
