I keep on trying to get better at the metal work and see all his cool tools.
Well ended picking a 1915 Metal shear made just a few miles from my house. Back when they were making equipment in the USA.
Here is what I saw on a craigslist ad.
I figured the first two digits in the serial number was the manufactured date.
Here is a add for a similar one in 1911
Here it is after stripping down and repainting, in the craigslist add you may think it is rust but it was painted mauve.
Now I have to start fabbing some stuff to restore my 63 Corvair Spyder....
