Mr Cool Advantage question

We bought a Mr Cool 12k Advantage about 6 months ago.. unfortunately the area where I was going to install took 5x the work I expected (normal for our house) so it set during that time. Has anyone else installed an Advantage on this forum? And if you have was the signal/control cable included?

I can't remember and just wanted to make sure it wasn't misplaced before my next Lowes run. Never got a answer from Mr Cool.. hate to have a actual question for them, last one I'll buy I guess. The install book doesn't show it on the parts list but it also doesn't specifically call out that's it separate.

I installed a Mr Cool Advantage 18k 2 years ago, and yes, the cable connecting the head inside unit with the outside unit was included. I don’t recall how it was packaged, but I suspect it was with the line set, since I had to specify line set length, and the portion of line that is connected to the wall unit is very short.

Who did you purchase it from? Can they help?

Got it from Lowes and actually that question was on Lowes website. Mr Cool states that the signal is included with the lineset. But it doesn't show in the picture as it does with their other products. If it's a 14 gauge 4 wire outdoor cable there's no way I could be missing it.. that would be hard to lose. I guess I'll just assume either it isn't included and they overlooked mentioning it or someone is stealing the cables.. oh well $1.** a foot at Lowes.

I have 2 18k units and the control wire is part of the lineset! They are great units!,,

Got a response back a week later. They must of been doing some research. They're sending a cable.. I'm thinking maybe some got sent out without one.

Just got mine and it is with the inside wall unit.

This should have come with a communication wire set 16 ft. How is the system working for you now. Very strange that they did not call you back. When I called the operator asked for my name and number and confirmed I had purchased the item and I received the part 5 days later. Sorry you had issues.
