How cold can it be for the mr cook to heat properly still? Two local companies quoted me at over $7500 to install a 2 zone 36k btu unit. Also has anyone gotten any grants for a mini split?
It depends on the model of mini-split being installed. Mr. Cool sells multiple models. So do well even down below 0F, some don't. This is definitely a "BUYER BEWARE" area ! You want to see evidence, from the manufacturer, IN WRITING !
Around here, installers usually recommend Fujitsu or Mitsubishi or other more common HVAC companies.
