I’ve got a 2 ton mr cool mini split on the way and I want to make sure I have everything I need before it shows up. Does it come with the poly drain tubing? If not, what is the diameter of the tubing to connect to the line?

Also, does it come with the electrical cable that goes between the head and condenser? I would presume so.

I just installed the same unit. It came with the tubing and the communication lines that run from the head unit to the condenser.

Just for general info, I installed it in a very well insulated 30' x 50' x 12' pole building. It seems to have no problem controlling humidity and temperature. I'm very pleased with it and have purchased a 12k and 18k unit for the house, yet to be installed!

For me, I don't really care for the poly tubing. I used 3/4" PVC (electrical, actually) for a drain line for 2 units... The plants outside are very happy.

Agree with the cheap white tubing that came with mine being a problem. It has direct sunlight and after two years it began to crumble. Luckily I was able to add a piece to it before it crumbled in the wall.

I always use PVC pipe and fittings -- use a rubber dishwasher or garbage disposer connector the mini's drain.

I have used flex == the stuff used for pools .... but it's over kill. I have never had a problem with regular and fittings .. that's what the good installers use.
