Mr Heater Big Maxx 2 Flashes Flame Ignitor Access

Hello,

I have a 15 or so year old MHU45 Big Maxx. First issue with it since I converted it from LP to NG 4 years ago. The system starts fine, induction fan comes on, I can hear the gas valve open/close 3 times I can faintly smell gas then it times out and flashes 2 times. My question is how do you get to the flame ignitor, I suspect it is bad or needs cleaning. The screws are on the backside of the mounting metal. It looks like the whole darn guts have to come out to get to it. True?

Any secrets to getting to it?

I tore into it, removed the burner pipe's 4 screws and slid the gas valve back then took out the 2 screws at top, 2 screws at bottom and the 2 screws on the side. The whole burner box slid out. I had read earlier where the sides and all need to be removed so I was taking the exterior front and side off, not necessary.

Megged the ignitor, had plenty of resistance so i cleaned it and the flame sensor and put them back in. Back in business

Very stupid design putting the screws for those two items inside the box, not accessible from outside...
