Mr. Heater Big Maxx Switches

I have a Mr. Heater Big Maxx unit for my garage and it stopped working last week. The 3 amp fuse was constantly blowing on startup. I was able to diagnose it to a 24v short on the High Limit Switch. I have that jumpered for now so I can get supervised heat but want to replace.

Looking for replacement switches; can any similar High Limit switch be put in for other furnaces? Or is there something unique about the Mr. Heater switches? I'm also looking at getting an extra Limit Switch as well. Trying to find the best cost+shipping sources. Thanks.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Sam

High limit control across the contacts are normally closed. Terminals to ground? High limits vary by temperature and insertion depth. Disk type should have temperature stamped on it
