Hi all. I want to purchase the Big Maxx 75000 btu propane heater for my 40'x24' garage. Now what i had in there previously was a wood burning stove that ran a 6" pipe to the 8' ceiling then out the roof from there with double walled stove pipe.
My question is can I use this existing setup to vent my Mr. Heater Big Maxx? The Mr. Heater uses 4" pipe to vent but I figured I could run the 4" pipe and then using a 4" to 6" pipe adapter, connect to the existing chimney. Any issues with doing this? Any other ideas let me know if you would, I just hate to cut another hole in the roof if I don't have to.
