I am in the process of installing my Mr Heater 80,000 unit, and have finished the electrical portion of the install. I would like to test the unit prior to turning on the gas to ensure the electrical connections are in proper order.
That being said, if I attempt to operate the unit without the gas connected, will the fan come on to ensure everything is working? I believe there is a black knob on the gas valve that may need to be turned to the on position, however it is in the off position currently. I have 120 vac at the connection prior to installing the cover.
Just trying to ensure it will operate prior to making final connections of gas. Is there a way to do that? Thank you in advance for any and all assistance you may be able to provide.
