Mr heater maintenance?

I installed a mr heater Big Max hanging furnace in my garage last fall, worked great all winter. It's getting colder now and I'll soon be needing some heat.

Is there any maintenance or anything I need to do before I fire it up for the first time this season?

I would check the manual for anything then I would pull off any covers and blow out or vacuum any dust or debris, check for any loose wires and make sure the vent is open. I have seen birds or bees takes up residence in the exhaust vent of lots of different appliances over the summer.
