Some new arrivals for the Snap On road box. Mastercraft Maximum clear handle screwdriver set (which are the best lifetime warranty screwdriver you can buy at Canadian Tire) They are really great. Set of Punches & Chisels, Breaker bar.

When I was at Canadian tire I went in the automotive tools section (our american friends wont know what I'm talking about) and as you may know Canadian Tire arent selling Powerbuild tools wich were their car specialty tools line. (Wich I like because some of their kits are actually really good quality) Their new lines are now OEM brand wich I kinda find cheap quality. So I scored this high quality Valve spring compressor so I can ditch my cheap version of it. Kinda stoked.

and also this Giant set of discontinued Mastercraft Maximum wrenches

Forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject, but could you not go across the border into the U.S. and buy what tools you wanted and take them back? Would you have to pay a customs tax or something bringing it back into Canada?

Yes but our currency exchage is 22% our taxes are about 7% and duties can go up to 30% so essentially the tools you buy in the states are about 45% more expensive than what you would pay. Locals tool stores are selling between 30% up to 300% the price from the states. Some of the deals are good others arent.

Well, picked up some Canadian tire On Sales item for my Racetrack toolbox:

-Stanley matte black series 229 pieces for 119.99$ instead of 399.99$

-Mastercraft Maximum Breaker bar 14.49$ instead of 42.99$

-Mastercraft Maximum Pliers set 19.99$ instead of 39.99$.

-Mastercraft Cart with 1 drawer 79.99$ instead of 119.99$

Then stopped at my local tool store to pick up some rails so I can take the sockets out of the blowmold case and put em in the box. Also picked up a Neiko Pro stud extractor wich is the exact same as the Mehews.

Very impressive. I like the red tool boxes, etc. You will find a lot of red in my shop as well.

Can you send me a PM with your address and the dates you will be out of town along with the combo for your security system?

I extremely rarely leave town, my truck is always parked in front of both garage doors, there's no windows and if you end up getting in by drilling the concrete wall (its built like a bunker) you better bring some chips & soft drinks for the party after you trip the alarm because the police have a pretty impressive response time. Ask me how I know. #protectyourinvestment #ialsohavea12gaugeready #tryandseewhathappens

Salut Mr. A - nice tool collection & great pics .... damn I miss Montreal!
Stayed just east of St Denis near Rachel for 4 years in the 90s ..
lots of special garages hidden in the back alley sections between the blocks .. great system.

Look forward to more pics now that summer's almost there - enjoy Tabenac!

Yes, there is. I always discover new garage gem around my area. One time I was riding near my place and I saw one of those shady back alley garage open, passed by. There was a fully built stock car in it with tools all over the place.

Even mine his hidden and looks like nothing from the outside. That's the key, if you don't want people to break in, you make sure it looks like there's nothing interesting inside which is the case for like 95% of garages around here.

Summer in Montreal is the best.

How's your pick up project?

Its on hold, we'r looking for a donnor truck for a frame, so I can begin fabrication of the rear 4 links, drive train mounts, Step notch, brakes & brake lines.... Probably get a 70's/80's square body GMC with close to similar wheelbase.

Best advice, because Future Madame Gauthier isnt too interested in seeing half my paycheck leave in the garage. I'v learn with years that if you have a passion where you can make money off, its way easier to evolve into it and you can convert your time in money on your days off doing what you love.

Nice garage! do you have any build threads on your bikes?
I do not, but one day I might do a blog. I'll post all the links in this thread

Nice man that is an epic tool collection!
You never have enough :p

Simplement parfait!
Merci

Very nice man, any updates?

Thanks alot guys for all your comments and positive feedback. I lost a big part of the garage and driveway from my landlord, so its been extremely challenging doing anything in my shop in the past 2 years. Currently saving for a house that should happen in a near future and a real garage is in the plans . Stay tunes
