I’m finishing up the install of a 12k unit on my shop and need to secure the excess line set under the wall mount. Thoughts?

The manual says to keep it coiled horizontally and protective taped. I'm looking for the best way to attach it under the wall mount but haven't really seen any examples. Most I've seen put the coil vertical behind the condenser which isn't the recommended orientation.

Buy 3 more of those lashing straps and secure them like the one you have.

Would have been better to have cut all of that excess off for a cleaner install.

Might want to consider replacing that drain hose with pvc pipe to neatly secure to wall and withstand the UV.

The wall penetration needs sealing. Consider a line set cover for a cleaner look and to secure the cables.

You would be better with some UV resistant covering on the lineset; your li9neset insulation will deteriorate. On my linesets installs I need to attach them to something, I used heavy duty UV resistant zip ties. Make sure you lines are well insulated, no gaps in the insulation, all breaks in the insulation, water proof taped.,

Vertical coils make a sweet oil trap. Horizontal coils only. As stated I don't think you're far off with your coil below the mount w/ zip strips.

Sarcastic me thinks, why not just lower the wall mount to ground level and that will burn up a good chunk of the coil.

Thanks for the input. I have it so high up because of proximity to the vinyl fence and we have a chicken run along the fence as well. I’ve wrapped it and strapped it. I definitely didn’t expect it to look aesthetically appealing, and it’s on the back side so only the neighbors can see it 😆.

You're basically done. I used those wide HVAC zip ties to suspend the lineset.

Oh and I would have put the control wires behind the lineset and attach to the power conduit.
