MrCool in metal building

I have a 30x40 red iron building with 12' eave height with a 4/12 pitch roof. I have 3/4 plywood up to eight foot height. I put 2x4 studs behind the plywood. Painted and am happy with the walls. I am wanting to mount a 36k MrCool mini-split about 2 foot above the wall. The top of the plywood goes in-line with the sidewall girts. What would be the best way to put plywood above the girt to mount the inside unit of the MrCool? The eave strut is angled to the roof pitch. Any help greatly appreciated.

Mine is mounted on on a piece of plywood just about the size of the backing plate. I just screwed the plywood to the center I-beam at the 9 foot height with two 1/4" bolts. The inside unit isn't heavy. This is on the 40 foot wall, dead center.

How is that working for you? What size building and unit is this?

Works great. 30x40x12 with a 6/12 pitch, 22 feet to the peak. Conventional roll insulation on the walls and roof, doubled on the roof. 7 large windows, double pane vinyl, man door, 12x12 overhead insulated. 36k MrCool is a bit of overkill. Cheap to run. I let it statisfy at the 9 foot mark and leave the loft warm. In winter I run a simple box fan upstairs to pull the heat down when I'm out there working.
