Just looking for insight. I have had my MrCool for about 3 months and its been running a lot in this 100*F+ temps of Texas. Fan motor stopped running. I figured Id just open it up and check the capacitor.... I cant find it. I figured it would be like a traditional A/C and have a capacitor. Its not next to the pump, its not by the fan. All the wiring seems to go to a circuit board at the top of the unit. The circuit board has 3 large caps on it (not sure if they are the capacitors or not).

Any suggestions?

I have worked on other brands and they have had 2 speed motors with a cap inline. Trace the motor wiring back to see where it connects (look for wire color). The last I had worked on had a small black box capacitor with push on spade terminals, looked like the same a ceiling fan would use to control the speed. Changed it out and the outside fan was back to full speed.

Good luck with it.
