MSC price increases

Was about to order some Proto odds and ends when I noticed that MSC has raised their prices about 10% since last years catalog. You'd think that they would have tried to keep their increases to a minimum in these economic times.

Who has the best prices on line for Proto? Are other manufacturers raising prices too?

Surprised it took them this long to raise prices. The cost of steel and other metals has been going up and up the last few years. That cost will be reflected in the final steel products, i.e. tools

they held off until thier stock was gone, then they had to bring in the new stock at this years prices and couldnt keep the prices where they were. its amazing how when hard times hit everything is more expensive.
