Well we started the project for a barndominium. It will be 48x50 on slab with radiant heat and mini split for backup and a/c. I am sure we will make plenty of mistakes along the way but the premise is 30x48 interior storage space with the remaining 20x48 as living quarters comprising living room, kitchen,and bedroom. I will be posting photos as the project moves along.

Couple of photos of the foundation going in. As you can see, we tinted one space as it wont be getting flooring and my wife thinks concrete grey is boring

We will be using propane ( all that's available ) with water in tubes. We have it zoned to different spaces
