So I had the Scanner (black carts, v6.2) hooked to my car (GM computer command carb) today, and I noticed I was getting an unusually low reading on the mixture control dwell, hovering around 5 degrees........ so I spent about a half hour screwing around with the idle air bleed and couldn't get a normal reading (around 32 deg.), finally, on a hunch, I plugged in an old red cartridge (1980-1993 GM), and I got normal readings...... anyone have any ideas why the readings were way off on the newer carts?
